House Bill - PASSED!

We are excited to share some important news regarding House Bill 590! The bill has successfully passed unanimously in the House!! We couldn’t have made it this far without your unwavering support and dedication. However, while this is a significant step forward, we want to address some exemptions included in the bill that we do not fully agree with. These exemptions were added by the bill sponsor without our prior knowledge.

We have been assured by our lobbyist that these exemptions will be removed before the bill is introduced to the Senate. We continue to work hard to ensure that the bill fully reflects our values and goals.

Now, as we head into the next phase of this journey—facing the Senate (SB 415) —this is where the real battle begins. We are prepared for what lies ahead, and we will keep you updated every step of the way. There may be calls to action in the near future as we engage in further advocacy, so stay tuned.
