The Blue Ridge Society of Radiologic Technologists is pleased to annouced this year's Student Technologist of the year is Kasie Young. Ms. Young is a student technologist from Caldwell Community College and Technical Institute. Kasie is described as an excellent student tech who is a team player that works well with all staff and strives to demonstrate comfort and compassion to her patients. Kasie is a role model for anyone around her and represents our profession on the highest level. The BRSRT is the only local society in the state of NC. The society strives to promote high standards of education and training and to elevate the quality of patient care while improving the welfare of radiologic technologists and providing quality low cost continuing education.
